Appearance[]

Lucifer's initial design (left) Vs his redone and final design (right).
Lucifer is a giant demon who shares a striking resemblance to Dabura from the Dragon ball series. According to Akira Toriyama in Sand Land Kanzenban "Ask Akira Toriyama: “Sand Land” Production Secrets," he stated that according to him, in his preference the highest ranking of the demons will always resemble Dabura or Lucifer in terms of looks. Lucifer has large horns, he wears a dark purple open shirt, obi around his waist and pants. He also dawn's a well trimmed mustache and goatee.
In his original unreleased draft, Lucifer looked drastically different, sporting a much more muscular built, a broader and more menacing face, sleeveless top and overall same bottom trousers and much larger boots and with a cape tied to a Demon Skull with wings emblem.
However, Toriyama ultimately ended up scrapping this design as he found it be a bit too straight forward with what he wanted to project him to be.
To complete the fit, he dawn's a white cape that he buttons up on his shirt that also extends as a collar and golden boots.
Personality[]
Lucifer being a king, is always shown to be formal and diplomatic, even if it is him greeting his daughter and his grand daughter he maintains his formal behavior as a Demon King.
He is especially strict with his son Beelzebub even going so far as to cut down his time playing video games to better discipline him, this way, Beelzebub ended up being a kind hearted yet mischievous demon who ended up becoming a hero in Sandland for his actions in assisting Sheriff Rao in taking down General Zeu and later defeating Muniel and Bred before they used Garam to eradicate Sandland.
Due to his height and status as a king, all demons are fearful of him and make sure to show him proper respect. But despite the strict demeanor and scary appearance, he genuinely cares for his demons and their well-being as shown when he permits Beelzebub to join Sheriff Rao on his quest as it proved to be beneficial for him and his clan but also ended up fixing the distrust between Demons and Humans of Sand Land.
He is generally seen reading books or watching TV and gets extremely angered when Muniel disturbs and destroys his TV causing his entire palace to shake in the wake of his rage.

He is shown to fly and able to use Ki and magic to fight his enemies. In the past When fighting Muniel due to him disturbing his programme, Lucifer immobilized the angle and with his telekinesis ripped out his wings and sent the angle flying away to the desert wasteland.
However, years later in the events of Forest Land, Lucifer re-confronts Muniel but is sealed away in Muniel's urn after it sensed his ki in order to trap him. However, Lucifer still put on a good resistance but was ultimately sealed away, something that possibly hurt his pride as a Demon King.
